One team that signifies the best of tag-team wrestling's past, one that embodies the best of tag-team wrestling's present, and a matchup that is, categorically, tag-team wrestling's future.
Divided by geographic borders and rival promotions, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson's release and rebrand from WWE last month has opened the door for this dream match to finally happen. As yet though, everything has been quiet.
The move has been teased repeatedly on The Buck's various YouTube projects, most recently on an April episode of Being The Elite then the initials FTR were depicted in the clouds. Most fans expected this to lead to an imminent Dynamite appearance but, as yet, nothing has happened. Given AEW history of making big debuts on their biggest shows, Double or Nothing feels like a natural fit
