5. Tyson Interferes In The TNT Match
A few facts for you here that, when combined, have caused a flurry of intrigue. 1) AEW will crown its first-ever TNT Champion at this weekend's Double or Nothing when Cody takes on Lance Archer in the final of its tournament. 2) Mike Tyson.
If you think that's an editing oversight allow me to assuage you, "Mike Tyson" is as much a man's name as it is just a statement of fact. Not "Mike Tyson will be there" or "Mike Tyson will present the winner with the belt", just "Mike Tyson". Everything you need to know about this is entirely contained within those two words.
Anyway, flurry of intrigue, Mike Tyson once got in the ring at WrestleMania and, after the bell, socked Shawn Michaels in the face so naturally, the speculation is that he's going to do the same to one of our combatants here. Archer doesn't need his help to win, and Cody doesn't seem like the sort of person who'd accept it, so quite how he factors in here is anybody's guess. Regardless, most of the smart money has him interfereing, even though you can't bet on it.
