What is the 'Greater Good' now? It used to be that we were to accept Seth Rollins as the saviour of RAW.

Is the Greater Good now "not letting Murphy get his hole'? That's a face move, surely. He's in his 30s.

Whatever it is now, Seth Rollins sacrificed himself for it and intentionally eliminated himself from the match.

Elements of this were entertaining, but the big hoss stare-downs diminished even if Otis entered his best performance in ages. The agenting was loose and excessive. It was the worst of a match type that has yielded some excellent iterations since it was introduced in 2016. Team SmackDown were over-enthusiastic and were swiftly eliminated to little dramatic effect despite taking the piss with their tandem moves, which the referee didn't attempt to curtail. He didn't have to.

The RAW team won out because they were cannier at working together. What a wholesome story.

There are three heels on Team RAW, depending on what the f*ck Braun Strowman is.

The barely competitive layout was structured to further babyface Jey Uso - who has just turned heel (!) and has twice lost to Roman Reigns, if that's the ultimate destination - but his last stand was rushed, and he barely sealed the envelope on the superkick party he threw. The sequence was a bit loose.

Keith Lee picked up the win for Team RAW. He got more over in defeat last year.

That's the main roster for you.

Star Rating: ★★¾
