7 Mistakes WWE Made With The 2019 Superstar Shake-Up

4. What Happened To The Bar?

The Bar have been all over the place as of late and without the slightest sense of direction.

After failing to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 35, they invaded Raw the next night to crash the Kofi Kingston vs. Seth Rollins title for title main event, before losing to the makeshift duo in tag team action. It was a random Raw appearance for The Bar that was then followed up on with another loss to The New Day on SmackDown Live.

One week later on SmackDown, Sheamus was mysteriously absent from the program (likely due to injury), leaving Cesaro to forge an unlikely alliance with Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev. They, too, were unsuccessful in beating New Day.

That seemed to suggest that Cesaro would be flying solo for the foreseeable future on SmackDown, which should have happened three years ago. It didn't take long for WWE to move him to Monday nights in a last-minute move that wasn't a part of the Superstar Shake-up and wasn't acknowledged on television until he showed up for his match with Cedric Alexander this week on Raw.

Basically, The Bar is no more, and no explanation was provided. At least SAnitY and The Riott Squad were forced to split up due to the draft, whereas The Bar met its demise on a whim and for no real reason.
