7 Mistakes WWE Made With The 2019 Superstar Shake-Up

5. Some Moves Weren't Announced On TV

During the WWE's original draft days from 2002 to 2011, the company held a supplemental draft on its website after all the major moves were made on Raw and SmackDown. This usually included the likes of Shelton Benjamin, William Regal and Zack Ryder (a.k.a. the wrestlers who weren't as important).

WWE did away with the supplemental draft upon the inception of the Superstar Shake-up and has instead announced all of their moves on Raw and SmackDown Live, even if it's through graphics or video packages hyping their eventual arrival on their new show. That ended up being the case last week during Raw for Eric Young, who was split away from SAnitY in the process.

If nothing else, at least him switching shows was acknowledged on air, whereas the lower-level wrestlers who jumped ship to SmackDown from Raw were not brought up during Tuesday's broadcast at all. Fans found out about Chad Gable, Apollo Crews, Liv Morgan, Mickie James and Heavy Machinery changing brands after SmackDown ended on WWE.com and on social media, which was never once advertised on television.

There are likely still fans who are unaware that those six stars are now on the blue brand, and officials only have themselves to blame for that.
