7 Moves The Undertaker Tried To Adopt That Didn't Stick
3. Reverse STO
Another move that made its presence felt after Undertaker's 2004 return was the reverse STO. Out of nowhere, The Phenom would wrap one arm around his opponent's neck and the other under his arm, locking him in place as he threw himself onto his back, planting his unsuspecting victim face-first into the mat.
It was a rather unorthodox move for someone the size of The Undertaker to use, but it seemed to be the legend's alternative to the DDT which he didn't use as much during this time. As it was never named during its period of use, commentators Michael Cole and Tazz didn't really know what to call it.
While it was one of the more effective additions to his repertoire, it too seemed to have a limited shelf life. Though it became a common feature of the Deadman's arsenal throughout the entirety of 2004, he began reducing its use soon after. It would continue to pop up now and again throughout 2005 and 2006 before he finally stopped using it.
