7 New Directions For WWE After Night Of Champions 2025

4. Build For Evolution 2

WWE's creative team really have to get moving on this! The next Saturday Night’s Main Event has received more focus than this second Evolution show, and that's a dime a dozen TV special compared to a fully-fledged PLE. Of course, Goldberg’s retirement will hog headlines there, but Evolution needs some top bouts and feuds in a hurry.

That should be a priority on Monday’s episode of Raw. The writers have to start stacking the card full of matches people want to see, and they need to find bouts for champs like IYO SKY, Tiffany Stratton, Giulia and Becky Lynch. At least an NXT Women's Title match pitting champ Jacy Jayne vs. Jordynne Grace has been plonked onto the format sheets ahead of time.

That's a start, but you're running out of time guys. In total, there are only 2 more episodes each of Raw, SmackDown and NXT before WWE sets up the stage and runs the show in Atlanta on 13 July. Sure, that reads like a lot of television time, but it's hardly like a Women's United States Title bout is going to dominate most of the 2 hour runtime on SmackDown every week (for example).

They'll get 15-20 minutes of screen time at best on each episode, so time is of the essence. These matches need to be set up, announced and receive some satisfactory build before they happen. Otherwise, this should've just been run as a women's only edition of flagship broadcast Raw, or something like that.

Put some proper respect on the division, please. WWE is usually good at doing that, so it's confusing that they don't seem bothered here.
