Wrestlers who have appeared on HOH shows have been signed by WWE and TNA, as you said. It’s no wonder your events appeal to ambitious young wrestlers who want to be noticed — and that they’re willing to literally go the extra mile to participate.

“Yes. I don’t live in the past, but I really, really take from the past. I look at all the experiences I’ve gone through, especially with ECW. We were really a breeding ground for the wrestling business. Men and women would come in there, get over and either go to WCW or WWE. We had a few staples, but everyone else was an interchangeable part.

“That’s what makes [House Of Hardcore] so solid, and I’m happy with that. If there comes a time when I do get television and I have the opportunity to sign people who I feel would help me and help the company, then of course I would do that. But, for now, I’m trying to continue on this path and give as many people either an opportunity or just work. I like it because it’s a place for people who have aspirations to go to WWE, have just left WWE or don’t want to go back to WWE. I’m happy with it being that place.”
