The return of Batista is something that has been on the mind of wrestling fans all summer because when he left in June we were told that he was going to return. He had to take a few months off to go promote the Guardian of the Galaxy film, which did huge numbers and has made over $550,000 million worldwide during its first month in theatres. It's a huge hit. People that aren't wrestling fans know who he is now. They might not have known before this movie. Being a mainstream movie star puts him on another level. At the time of his departure, reports were out saying that he was going to return before SummerSlam. It made sense since SummerSlam is a major show and a guy in his spot would likely want to be on a show like that. When it didn't happen the feeling was that it would take place after SummerSlam. Those plans changed after Batista said in a recent interview that he won't be back before the end of 2013. Batista was adamant in saying that he won't be back this year. Maybe he just wants to focus on his movie roles for the rest of the year. While there's nothing announced for him for the rest of this year, there could be discussions that could lead to announcements soon. While some fans probably won't miss the guy, there's no question that WWE could use his star power right now. However, he's doing the right thing by staying away because it's the best the best thing for his career right now and there are a number of reasons why it makes sense for him. Here are seven reasons why it's smart for Batista to stay away from WWE until we get to WrestleMania season in 2015.
