7 Reasons Daniel Bryan vs Shinsuke Nakamura Inter-Promotional Match Is Best For Business
5. It Keeps Daniel Bryan Occupied And Out Of WWE Title Picture For Now
Lets be honest, the WWE doesnt really want Daniel Bryan in the WWE World Heavyweight Title picture. Theyre trying to build Roman up, showing some love for Randy, and Brock has dibs on Seth Rollins at some point. The point is that for the next little (or long) while, Daniel Bryan isnt going to part of their plans for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Daniel Bryan being the Intercontinental Champion is a nice way to keep him spotlighted, raise the prestige of that title, and more importantly keep him out of the main event scene. With that being said, hardcore fans know this and may become restless with Daniel Bryan simply being a workhorse holding a consolation championship. Nakamura vs. Bryan would quell any such restlessness. This would be a big time inter-promotional match. Hell its a major league event in and of itself. Its a surefire way to keep Bryan away from the top title, but let the fans know unquestionably that the WWE has faith in, and are completely behind Daniel Bryan. The Yes Movement, as well as the people that want Daniel Bryan as a main evener are not going anywhere, so creative solutions for keeping them pacified are a must.
