If Goldberg is successful in challenging Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship it would mean that no matter what happens at WrestleMania 33 the man in control of RAW's top title would not be a full time performer for the company. In the post-draft world this would be somewhat catastrophic for WWE's flagship show, a show that is already struggling from being overblown and poorly booked.

It is a point that deserves hammering home and one that fans seem to make on a regular basis, but WWE should not be putting championships on part timers. A vague argument could be made in favour of a part time heel getting the belt, as by nature heels are inclined to deny the viewing public what they so desperately desire, but what sense is there in a babyface holding the title and sitting at home with his feet up?

Two part time performers battling over the most important championship on RAW only adds weight to the argument that the red show is a confused mess in 2017. One year ago WWE was all about pushing the New Era but that seems to have been forgotten somewhat.
