7 Reasons Why Roman Reigns Will Struggle To Carry WWE

5. He Has Some Maturing To Do

WWE is a PG company. After years of fighting that fact, it seems most fans begrudingly accept it. While most male fans despise Cena, they would hopefully be able to at least admit that he fits in well with the current product. The man is a true workhorse. He does an incredible amount of charity work, and conducts himself well in interviews and on social media. Reigns, however, still has some growing pains to go through. A few months ago on Twitter, Roman Reigns apparently had a dinner that he wasn€™t very fond of. Instead of keeping that to himself and some friends, he took to twitter to blast the restaurant. Fair enough. We€™ve all said a thing or two on social media that we would probably wanted to have not posted. But not many of us are seen by millions of people every single week. When someone like Reigns called a manager a €œsmug b***h€ you have to wonder what he€™s thinking. He also did this when he was 29, not 19. Trying to make light of the situation, WWE producer Billy Kidman made a joke on Twitter saying Reigns was just trying to score a free meal. Reigns didn€™t get it. He basically blasted Kidman and called him an old man. Reigns may be going through some growing pains in the public eye, but you can imagine some faux pas like that probably make McMahon a little more cautious about choosing him as his next guy of his family entertainment company.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
