Not only was Davey Boy a fan favourite, if you listen to any of his fellow superstars from his era and beyond he is spoken about fondly - in terms of his ability, his love and dedication to the sport, and for his personality back stage.

If you’ve read any of the major biographies such as Bret Hart’s or Mick Foley’s, you’ll have at some point heard of a hilarious rib or anecdote that involved Davey. He was somewhat of a practical joker, often in cahoots with Owen Hart, another well-known prankster, and has often been credited as being someone who lifted the spirits of the locker room and didn’t take himself too seriously.

Although he was involved in a bit of controversy with an allegedly dangerous rib behind the scenes with Tom Billington and the Rougeau Brothers in the 1980s, Davey is largely remembered as a wonderful talent with great heart (or should I spell it 'Hart'...)

The British Bulldog being inducted would be a move well received from the WWE roster, and the larger wrestling world.
