7 Reasons WWE Moving Smackdown Back To Thursdays Is Smart

It's a strong rumor and here are 7 reasons why it makes a lot of sense too.

The WWE's second most important television show, Smackdown, has been on Friday nights since 2006, but it looks like it could move as it returns back to its Thursday home where it was from 1999 to 2006. After a WWE production truck was photographed saying that it would air on Thursdays on Syfy, the speculation machine has run wild with people assuming that it's true. On Wednesday evening there was a report by F4WOnline.com stating that while WWE has discussed moving Smackdown to Thursdays, it's not official at this time. A reason to think that it's not happening is that if it was happening you would think WWE would announce something that was as major as this in a press release or at least on their website. Maybe they would mention it on Raw. By putting it on a production truck, they had to have known that it was going to get photographed by somebody and then shared around the internet. The trucks also have the new WWE logo on it, which is the same as the WWE Network on it. It's not like this was some old paint job. It's new. No official announcement has been made about Smackdown moving, but there are plenty of reasons to like a potential move back to Thursday nights. Here's a look at seven reasons why it would be the smart move by WWE to move "the blue brand" back to Thursdays.
