The main event of Takeover: Fatal 4-Way accomplished way more than wowing the crowd and giving them their moneys worth. It created a major new story arc for the NXT Championship scene. With Adrian Neville seemingly turning heel by robbing Sami Zayn of his big win and then stealing the victory for himself, fans have an entirely new prism through which to watch a Neville-Zayn match. Neville is closing in on seven months as champion, and he did whatever was necessary to hold onto that strap, even if it meant preventing underdog Zayn from finally achieving his dream. The booking writes itself from here if NXT pursues it, with Neville gradually resorting to more dastardly tactics to save his title, with Zayn chasing and ultimately defeating him for the title. Its a classic chase story that would pay off Sami being a perpetual runner-up, and it would free Neville up to finally move up the ranks to WWE. He already wowed the crowd at Raw with the Red Arrow, so its only a matter of time before hes doing that on a regular basis. Thursdays title match conclusion set the wheels in motion, and when a PPV does that, it makes you want to continue tuning in to see what happens next. Mission accomplished.
