What a wild couple of days for WWE and Hulk Hogan. Early on July 24, WWE terminated Hogan from his contract for what was only considered a rumour at the time. Hours later, Hogan's racially charged transcript came out and tarnished the legend's career to a point where he may not ever recover. Not only does WWE lose one of its greatest ambassadors for the company, but they now have to fill a major hole in their on-going wrestling reality show; Tough Enough.

Alongside Paige and Daniel Bryan, Hogan was brought in to add notoriety and attract more eyes to the show. Initially, he was pretty bad; asking a strange question or two, then sitting quietly for a majority of the show and its after-show; Tough Talk. During the past few weeks, his performance improved by bringing in an old-school mentality by calling out contestants for actions that would not fly in the past.

Now, that experience is gone and WWE needs to fill the void with someone who is just as experienced. Currently, Ric Flair is being rumoured as a possible replacement, but this has not yet been confirmed.

So, here are seven other possible replacements that are mostly logical choices, with a few long shots included.

7. Billy Gunn

Wrestling since 1989, Billy Gunn was half of one of the most popular tag teams ever, The New Age Outlaws. As an 11-time Tag Team champion, Billy also has added Intercontinental champion and 1999 King of the Ring to his resume. He's spent most of his career with the WWE, but has also worked for TNA for 4 years. In his 50's, Billy still has little trouble keeping up against modern day teams like Cody/Goldust, The Usos, and The Ascension.

Currently, he's a trainer for NXT and is one of the coaches on Tough Enough. He works every single week with the contestants so it would make sense for him to be one of the judges deciding who should stay or go. He may not have the notoriety factor, but he's the best coach on the show, in terms of entertainment value and coach ability/motivation. Plus, he has the personality to keep up with the current cast of judges and Jericho.

Josh's work has been seen on Cageside Seats, Yahoo, and The Richest. If it's not pro wrestling, he's definitely thinking about cured meats and/or sushi, but never all three at the same time...that can get weird. Twitter: @HeelDoors
