Oh boy, can you imagine this one? A year ago the thought of putting Kevin Owens in the ring with Shawn Michaels would have been dismissed as pure fantasy and probably scoffed at. It's a credit to Owens and his sterling heel work and ability to get himself over on the big stage that that is no longer the case. Although a match with babyfaces Bryan or Ziggler would be a fine athletic contest, a match with a real pr**k like Kevin Owens is a different, altogether more interesting proposition. KO verbally sparring with HBK would be a delight, with the young and brash former Intercontinental Champion attacking Michaels for being old, past-it and never as good as Kevin Owens is right now. Michaels, for his part, could talk about how he at one point was a cocky punk like Owens, but that he saw the light and was all the better for it. Naturally, that wouldn't sit well with Owens who would deliver his patented pop-up powerbomb on the 'Sexy Boy', bringing Michaels out of exile. Michael versus Owens would probably work best in a gimmick scenario like an unsanctioned/no holds barred match, ala Michaels' SummerSlam 2002 comeback match against Triple H. Dig out the blue jeans and cowboy boots, Shawn, it's time to go to work...
