7 Signs WWE’s Brand Split Is Coming To An End

Cast your mind back to all those times Stephanie and Shane McMahon, Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan declared that last summer's WWE Draft would mark a definitive split between Raw and SmackDown. Even WWE's announcers got in on the act, declaring weekly that we would "never see" certain superstars on their rival shows again.

This was sullied almost immediately by Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar gatecrashing the opposite brand to further their feud heading into SummerSlam 2016, but fans were willing to ignore that if WWE showed they were serious long term. Surprise, surprise, they didn't. In fact, hints are being dropped all over the place recently that the current brand split is a hindrance to WWE.

Lately, the original rules of the brand extension have been outright ignored when they don't suit whatever plans WWE want to push.

Could the split be about to end?

Signs are there that things are just a little bit more relaxed than fans were led to believe last summer...
