7 Things No WWE Fan Wants (That Will Probably Happen Soon)

1. Shane McMahon Becoming WWE Champ

Money talks.

That's a spoken lyric from Shane McMahon's entrance theme, and it's a fitting quote to sum up his cash-grabbing, spotlight-hogging, self-obsessed character. Shane McMahon, in canon, believes he is the "Best In The World" and is a one-man license to print money. If he wins the WWE Title in 2019 however, he might become a one-man license to print refund requests.

When used sparingly as a part-time attraction in big, gimmicked matches, Shane can be a valuable tool. Fans don't mind him popping up occasionally if he's not going to dominate, but his presence has increased on Raw and SmackDown. McMahon's influence can be felt on both shows, and he's even become embroiled in multiple feuds against The Miz and Roman Reigns as of late.

It's overkill, and things could be about to get much, much worse. Twitter has been talking, and the WrestleVotes account claim to have inside knowledge on WWE's upcoming plans. According to them, Shane might be the one to beat Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship.

Hell's bells this is bad news. Again, when he's used infrequently, McMahon is fine. If he's shoved down everyone's throats as the new WWE Champ and beats the popular Kingston to get there, there might be a revolt.
