"Tell him to stop the damn match" and, "Don't you dare put him through that motherf*cking glass again!" were both things Vince McMahon roared from his backstage seat as he watched his son get absolutely battered. Once Shane had been through the first pane of glass, Vince was adamant the gig was up.

Prichard, seeing how furious his boss was getting, literally went down to the entrance way and yelled for Mike Chioda to stop the match. He told the ref Kurt and Shane couldn't do another glass spot under any circumstances. So, of course, they did. Angle, who later claimed he couldn't hear Chioda telling him to stop, crashed Shane through some more panels on the set.

Both believed they were in for a verbal ticking when they returned to the locker room.

They didn't get one, only because Vince had excused himself from Gorilla and gone off to cool down before speaking to his son and Kurt. This allowed Shane and Angle to relax, share a beer and laugh hysterically before they were taken to hospital to be checked out.
