WrestleMania 33 will be headlined by two part-time performers in the shape of Brock Lesnar and WWE Universal Champion Goldberg. WWE has specialised in referring to multiple matches as the 'main event' but it is clear that this is the match the company has put the most faith in with regards to ticket selling, and it will more than likely close out the show.

As such this should be the last time that the main event of WrestleMania features two part-timers. This isn't to say that the 'Mania obsession with part-timers is going to end because it clearly is not, but the future should see the legends rub shoulders with the current stars a little more.

Besides, the number of potential WrestleMania main event matches featuring the part-timers dwindles every year. Kurt Angle could theoretically find himself in that position next year, but it is far more likely that Angle will find himself against a modern star like Seth Rollins than against a relic from the past like Triple H.
