7 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Sting

2. He Is The Biggest Name In The Last 30 Years Of Wrestling That Never Worked For WWE

When WCW ended in 2001, a lot of former big names in WCW ended up in WWE. Some went there right away like Booker T while others had contracts that were yet to expire, so WWE waited until the right time to bring them in. Over the next couple of years, guys like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Eric Bischoff, Scott Steiner and Goldberg showed up in WWE. Most of them are big names. There was one name missing: Sting. It seems like every year in the past four or five years, the rumors of Sting going to WWE start up and wrestling fans get excited about it. Instead of jumping, though, he ended up staying in TNA every year. He kept on signing one year deals. They paid him well, the schedule was easy There are some fans that think he shouldn't sign with WWE because then it would be historic that he's the biggest name that didn't go work for Vince McMahon. The thing is, if you're Sting don't you want to work at WrestleMania at least? Walk into that ring on Raw? It would be a great feeling for him because he'd likely get cheered As of right now, he's a free agent. In a few months, that may change. If it doesn't, he'll always be remembered as the guy that never worked for Vince McMahon. That's not a bad legacy to have now, is it?
