7 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Mickie James
1. The John Cena Affair
Former Spirit Squad member Kenny Doane made a somewhat shocking return to WWE television recently, Shocking because in June 2012 Dykstra went on the warpath, outing John Cena and Mickie James as adulterers in a series of revealing Twitter posts. Dykstra and James were an item for many years until Dykstra discovered evidence of the affair and, according to him, Mickie confessed.
Among the highlights were:
She was googling mickie james and john cena dating. I asked why, she broke down crying. Then I heard more from others. She was checking to see if it was on the net yet.
He was messing with MJ so I got moved to Smackdown so they could further mess. I jobbed, got fired. When MJ got crazy because he wouldn't date her, she then got fired. Weird biz huh? She got title, on TV show while with him. Serves her well though.
When they were together she got the title, TV roles. When he dumped her she became Piggy James, then fired.
I made mention of him [Cena] sleeping with MJ and he probably thought I wouldn't say anything. But I did and he is mad. I guess.
He went on to say that there was no heat between him and Cena from his side and that he was just speaking the truth, had no reason to lie and was more than likely burning his bridges by bringing up the alleged affair. He went as far as to say that he even liked Cena, despite everything that went on.
Of course, Mickie is now married to former TNA star Magnus and Cena is in a long-term relationship with Nikki Bella, so everyone has well and truly moved on. The indiscretions of WWE's golden boy are not something the company wants their fans to talk about, though, and Mickie's return will only increase the likelihood of that happening.
