7 Things You Only Learn From Attending WWE Live
6. Commercial Break Points Are Obvious

If you've been fortunate enough to attend both a WWE house show and episode of Raw or SmackDown, then you can't have failed to notice a glaring difference in match style. On TV, the wrestlers seem much more lively for the most part, and that has led some to claim they 'phone it in' when the cameras aren't rolling.
It's all up to personal preference.
At live events, matches don't sag for commercial breaks. Next time you happen to be at a TV taping, pay close attention as the natural energy saps from the crowd whenever the lights sliiiiiiightly dim and the heel slaps a rest hold on his opponent. Then, watch as WWE's style masterfully brings the same people back up for a hope spot.
It doesn't take a genius to spot when ad breaks are happening. On occasion, WWE even run video content of their own on the big screen, a practice that completely takes away from the match in progress. Rest holds are used on house shows, but not with the same formulaic lull.
