7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (9 Feb)
1. ODB Returns In Underwhelming Fashion
Fresh off her return to the Impact Zone last Tuesday, ODB competed in her first match in over a year, a loss to Kimber Lee. As a whole, this was as flat a match as you can get, sadly.
An honorary Down for Jordynne Grace and Jazz accompanying ODB to ringside, even though Lee had Deonna Purrazzo and Susan with her. The former Knockouts Champion's striking ability kept 'The Crown Jewel' on her feet, but this was the only real highlight. With ODB retaining control throughout the contest, Deonna and Susan got into it at ringside with Jordynne and Jazz, opening the distraction for Kimber to roll up ODB.
Not the worst match ever, sure, however, this easily could have been far better considering the participants involved. A predicted six-knockout tag team match has since been set for No Surrender on Saturday evening, so there's a chance for the rivalry to redeem itself with the addition of Purrazzo and Grace. As for this in itself, it's not worth a watch.
