7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (9 Feb)

5. Tony Khan Opens Himself Up

The latest paid advertisement from Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone was outstanding. Standing in the middle of TIAA Bank Field (the location of the brilliant Stadium Stampede Match last May), Khan insisted that this forbidden door talked about amongst wrestling fans was actually him all this time. It wasn't a metaphorical door between Jacksonville and Tokyo - it was inside Khan all along.

While the rest of the ad was just a repeat of what we always see in the sense that Schiavone ran down the card for tonight's post-Beach Break episode of AEW Dynamite, it's important to note that Tony Khan confirmed he will be back in Nashville at some point. It was also teased that more Impact wrestlers will appear on AEW programming, and vice versa.

Khan is a sensational teaser when it comes to these ads. He doesn't usually give away too much, but with every word he drops, you're left thinking at least three questions at a time. Who shows up from Impact in AEW after The Good Brothers remains to be seen, but it could happen as soon as tonight.
