7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2023

4. Giving Seth Rollins An Out

WWE also used the bout to setup a WrestleMania grudge match.

Logan Paul entered the Chamber following Montez Ford's injury angle (which was convincing and might've had a touch of reality to it), then attacked Seth Rollins multiple times with a goofy smile on his face. This was good stuff, and was made better for the searing heat Montreal rained down on LP.

Hardcore pro wrestling fans just hate this guy, and it's awesome to see him embrace it. Having him sneak in the cage as Ford was being helped to the back was a neat way to give Rollins an out and keep things building towards their showdown in April. Win-win - Austin Theory retained and now Seth has another reason to be mad.

It was shrewd of the company to go all in on Paul as a heel. He has this slappable quality to him, and Rollins has been getting huge face reactions anyway. Something suggests these men will produce the goods in SoFi Stadium a little under two months from now.

Can't wait.
