7 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Nov 19)

4. Promo School Is A Scream

So far so sh*t thanks as a feature, Promo School finally delivered something entertaining this week as two former WCW World Heavyweight Champions went head-to-head in a war of words nearly 20 years in the making.

Hollywood C-lister and earnest wrestling fan/indie performer David Arquette was an enjoyable (if slightly awkward) presence with the microphone in hand, chasing big pops with his remarks about Booker T's wife, CM Punk's MMA career and his own infamous stint with the big gold belt slung over his rival's shoulder. It was a shame he ran a mile from them immediately afterwards.

P*ss funny at points and far more attuned to the ways of the work than actual outsiders, he was as endearing and respectful as he's always been.
