7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 13 - Results & Review)

6. Quite The Confrontation

Jade Cargill Charlotte Flair
WWE

Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair went nose-to-nose on this week's show, and it was exactly what the women's division needed. The whole scene badly needs some oomph, because it's becoming more and more obvious that WWE doesn't see IYO SKY as a long-term project (at least not in the title hot seat).

Something about Jade vs. Flair just feels right.

This was another promising sign for Cargill after showing up at Fastlane too. She's been treated like a mega-star since signing her WWE contract, and the fact Triple H keeps poking his beak into her segments guarantees spotlight from the creative squad.

Overall, this brief confrontation acted as a neat little teaser for things to come. Jade is blatantly about to blow up and become a massive deal in WWE circles, so it's cool the company isn't taking baby steps when that'd be unnecessary.
