7 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (22 Mar - Review)

5. Jade Cargill Has A Storyline!

Jade Cargill Smart Mark
AEW

"Smart" Mark Sterling is typically your writer's least favourite storyline driver in all of AEW, but either the return of QT Marshall as a ringside botherer has made the irritant sidekick seem less of a loser or this mini-programme is...actually decent?!

The lack of story for Cargill beyond keeping her streak warm for Kris Statlander has been inexcusable, but this week's Dynamite followed up on the natural avenue to take between the the TBS Champion and upcoming challenger Taya Valkyrie.

They've both got the same killshot in Jaded/Road To Valhalla, Cargill doesn't like it, and the paperwork's been served to the babyface to try and remove the bullet from her gun. It might sound like celebrating the basics, but they've been missing so long that this scanned as a genuinely pleasant surprise.
