7 Ups & 4 Downs from WWE Raw (5 May - Results & Review)

UPS…

7. Dominik A Lost Lamb

The Judgment Day
WWE

Poor Dominik Mysterio.

The kid wins his first main roster singles title and thinks he will just ride high off that glory for a while and immediately has his universe close in on him. Penta and AJ Styles are gunning for his Intercontinental Championship, and his girlfriend Liv Morgan is off shooting a movie for the next month-plus.

Dirty Dom lamented his lot after AJ visited the clubhouse, turning to Finn Balor for help, as if the Prince isn’t also eyeing the IC title. Sure, Balor agreed to “handle” Styles and will wrestle him next week (sidebar: Remember when AJ versus Finn would have been a major match, and now it’s a pretext for an IC title match against Rey Mysterio’s son?).

Mysterio as an oblivious champion not realizing that being a champ is hard work and not recognizing that Balor has designs on his title could be really entertaining if it’s played properly. They might even successfully babyface Dominik in the process if they play it right.
