7 Ups & 4 Downs from WWE Raw (9 June - Results & Review)

Ups…

7. Gable The Alchemist

WWE Raw AJ Styles Chad Gable
WWE

Chad Gable deserves a ton more praise than he regularly receives for what he does with his opportunities in WWE. The man has never held a singles title, and yet, he is more valuable to the company than several former world champions.

Gable battled AJ Styles in a solid little TV match that made the Phenomenal One look his best in a while. During the match, Gable avoided a Styles Clash with some help from the Creed Brothers (who paid the price for that interference) and countered a Phenomenal Forearm attempt by picking the ankle.

Styles has had his challenges with El Grande Americano, but he managed to pull out the win over Gable on Monday night when he escaped the anklelock and nailed a flash Styles Clash.

Good match that, for one week at least, brought AJ Styles into the positive column.
