Uncle Howdy and Erick Rowan vs. Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga was a snorefest, man. Most of this feud between The Wyatt Sicks and the MFT group has been, to be honest. The lantern stuff they've got going on is completely fruitless and uninteresting, and it’s not even like they’re knocking it out of the park in-ring. It’s tough to see any payoff WWE do have in mind flying here.

This rivalry has gone on far too long and eaten up far too much time on SmackDown without people getting any satisfaction out of it. Sure, it’s good that some tag-teams have a story, but creative still have to make sure that story is compelling. As it stands, the way MFTs keep stealing back the lantern from Howdy and pals makes The Sicks look like utter idiots.

Can't wait until next week/2 weeks from now when Rowan snatches that thing back and WWE still don't explain why the lantern is so important to Howdy. Of course, it's a homage to Bray Wyatt and everyone knows that, but there's zero evidence of these supernatural powers the commentary team keep banging on about. That lantern is symbolic for sentimental reasons and not actually all that vital to their cause.

End this, for goodness sake.

What's going on elsewhere in SmackDown's tag-team division should show WWE that they're putting everyone to sleep here. Solo's gang has lost all of its early steam, and The Wyatts remain one of the most nothing acts in a major company these days. Worse, you just know that more is on the way.
