7 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling Hard To Kill 2020

6. Spear Vs. Spear

Moose vs. Rhino was most likely going to be a fine enough match either way. However, the added stipulation of it being turned into a No Disqualifications Match made it far better than it probably would've been. Almost immediately, 'Mr Impact Wrestling' hit the No Jackhammer Needed spear, setting the tone for the level of brutality we could expect to see from them.

Things only picked up from that point forward. Moose took the brunt of it, being powerbombed through a table at ringside and then being superplexed onto a pile of steel chairs. Despite being manhandled, Moose was on top form here, dressed as 'Macho Man' Randy Savage (for whatever reason), which meant he had to perform a diving elbow drop. After yanking the referee in front of him that saw both he and the ref Gored through a table, Moose sealed the win with a low blow and a second No Jackhammer Needed for the three count.

It wasn't beautiful in terms of being a technical masterpiece, but in the eyes of a hardcore wrestling match, it was brilliant. It didn't have to rely too much on big spots, and the ones that did happen weren't over the top, which is always good. The ending with Moose grabbing the referee so he didn't take the full brunt of the Gore was a genius move on Moose's behalf, albeit not a fair one. That's Moose for you though.
