4. A Surprise Outcome

When the main event was made during the opening segment, you could have mentally prepped the “[SUPERSTAR X] Added to Women’s Elimination Chamber” news item.

So it was a bit surprising to see Bianca Belair standing tall at the end of Raw, defeating Bayley and Becky Lynch to keep both women out of the chamber match this weekend. The quality of the match itself is another story – and it dragged this item down – but it was an interesting move to keep both former champions out of the chamber after making the stipulation match.

It also was probably the smart move, as beating either woman (Neither Becky nor Bayley was going to win) would do nothing to help them in the build to WrestleMania. But then again, why book the match in the first place?

Oh right, because not everything needs to be super-obvious. If anything, it lets your Raw Women’s Champion stand tall winning a marquee match before her Mania opponent is known.
