Ups…

7. A Win’s A Win

Hey, let’s give WWE credit for stringing together a few wins for Queen Zelina. It would have been almost expected that Ms. Vega won the crown and then immediately started jobbing – it’s happened to plenty of previous WWE royalty.

Instead, Zelina defeated Nikki ASH rather handily Monday night, dodging a crossbody attempt and quickly putting her away with a Code Red. Just like that, the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion had picked up a win over a former Raw Women’s Champion.

It also looked like they were starting to subtly hint at Rhea Ripley tiring of Nikki’s incompetence, as she looked frustrated as the near-superhero lost again.

And kudos to Zelina for her promo on the way to the ring, doing her faux British accent, then dropping it and doing a thick Queens (New York) accent and then speaking Spanish as the crowd booed her, before segueing back to talking like a royal. It was just comical enough to see her drop the veneer for a few seconds so everyone knows she’s doing a bit, not that this is entirely who she is suddenly.
