2. Exorcising Her Demons

There was to be no 26-second repeat for Bianca Belair at SummerSlam 2022.

The Raw Women's Champion and old foe Becky Lynch were handed a healthy chunk of time to work with, and they made the most of it from minute one. This was a top effort from start to finish - it's also one that let Bianca exorcise those 2021 demons in the best way possible.

Belair won clean as a whistle, but not before pausing to let the commentary team wonder aloud whether or not she was still haunted by prior events; OK, so that sort of ignored her 'Mania win over the same opponent, but it was a fine-enough story beat.

Focus on Bianca's injured arm was welcome (even if it's ironic that Becks' own arm seemed to be legitimately hurt after taking a suplex outside the ring), and these women blatantly love working one another.

What an opener.
