7 Ups & 8 Downs From One Year Of Bray Wyatt’s Fiend In WWE

5. The Horror Show 'Swamp Fight'

Things haven't improved for Bray vs. Braun even when they've tried to spice things up with some flavour-of-the-month cinematic goodness. At Extreme Rules (sorry, 'The Horror Show At Extreme Rules'), both guys struggled to piecemeal together something that lived up to prior efforts like WrestleMania's 'Boneyard' brawl.

Their 'Swamp Fight' was a slog from start to finish, and it's oddly only memorable for being way less entertaining than pretty much every other cinematic special WWE has put on mid-pandemic. A spectacle that includes snakes, doppelgängers, drowning and general weirdness shouldn't be boring, but it was.

Crazy, but boring.

18 minutes felt like 48, which is never good, and each man's role was poorly defined. It's genuinely hard to sympathise with a musclebound brute who can flip over trucks, and Wyatt came across as an impish rogue rather than a psychopathic murderer.
