7 Ups & 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (April 2)

5. Becky Lynch: Also Good At Promos

Much like The IIconics earlier in the evening, Becky Lynch's SmackDown promo probably didn't need to be on the show. 'The Man' said nothing new and was only really there to pop the crowd and get something related to the women's Triple Threat onto the show. Regardless, Becky is so charismatic and over that this almost doesn't matter. These things carry her every performance, and they helped her to a solid SmackDown promo last night.

Entering via cop car, Lynch opted against taking the middle of the ring. Instead, she stood on the announce table, and, with the WrestleMania sign in full view, ran through the year that was, reminding fans that her and Charlotte Flair were "best of friends" heading into 'Mania 34 while Ronda Rousey was a rookie waiting to debut.

When all signs pointed towards Flair vs. Rousey at this year's event, Becky "smacked the smugness off Charlotte's face at SummerSlam." Her turn changed everything, she claims, and with the crowd chanting her name, 'The Man' said that the revolution started at SummerSlam would explode in New York, where she promised to make "one of those dopes tap" and become a double champion.

Good stuff from Lynch, and it's hard to imagine 'Mania ending any other way.
