7 Ups And 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 7)
3. Return Of The Bathroom Break Match
Even at its lowest point, the Divas Revolution had accomplished one thing: It had turned womens wrestling matches from bathroom break bouts into competent matches worth watching. That says nothing about poor angles and booking, though. And on Monday, we saw the very definition of a bathroom match emerge, as Naomi and Sasha Banks squared off against Brie Bella and Alicia Fox. Banks possibly is the best female wrestler out there right now, and she was reduced to a pedestrian pace of a match, with Brie Bella inexplicably acting like a face and getting booed throughout the match. Once again, Team BAD had to resort to their numbers game helping them win, because we have to protect Alicia Fox. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrqMjqWYsCE Hopefully this will not be another 3-4 weeks of Team BAD and the remnants of Team Bella squaring off in a variety of inconclusive matches. Fans might stop simply sitting on their hands and actively take a position against the match.
