6. NXT Breakout Tournament Returns

On top of the announcement that Beth Phoenix was taking a well deserved break away from the commentary desk this week, Vic Joseph also revealed that a certain tournament would be making its return to the black and gold show in two weeks time.

The very same bracket concept that gave us the likes of Cameron Grimes, Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott, Bronson Reed, and Angel Garza, to name but a few, the NXT Breakout Tournament will see another batch of future developmental starlets hopefully break onto the scene and the winner take on a Champion of their choosing.

This makes perfect sense once you take a look at the current NXT landscape as the likes of Scott and Grimes look set to shimmy their way up the card and Reed appears to be on his way up to the main roster. So, now more than ever, NXT is in need of a fresh influx of vibrant new faces.

Why not throw in a Women's version of the tourney while we're at it too? You can never get enough of a good ol' fashion set of knockout matches, so the more the merrier!
