4. Dream, EC3 Ramp Up The Heat

As the contest between Velveteen Dream and EC3 began, you couldn’t help but wonder if this was a clash of styles that was going to produce a lackluster match.

The bout started slowly with some semi-awkward transitions, but once Dream hit a twisting DDT on the steel ramp, things began to pick up. EC3 hit a powerbomb/deadlift sit-out powerbomb combo, which looked pretty impressive, followed by a superplex. That

But it was Velveteen with a DVD on the apron, with a Purple Rainmaker elbow drop to the apron(!) that secured victory. It provided Dream with a much-needed victory. He had only won one televised bout since February (granted, there only had been six of them).
