Clunky match aside, the newly named Damage Control desperately needed to win the six-woman tag match at Clash at the Castle. And they did.

Bayley’s faction debuted five weeks ago at SummerSlam, shocking the wrestling world. Since they, they’ve made a pretty solid showing on Raw, save for Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky losing a match for the vacant WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship earlier in the week. That loss though necessitated Damage Control picking up the win here, lest they look like a group in disarray.

And what’s more, the group managed to isolate Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and put her down with a trio of finishers, the first time Belair had been pinned in more than 300 days. That alone was noteworthy, and it really solidified that Damage Control was a unit and not to be taken lightly.

Now, let’s see what comes next for this group. You’ve got to imagine Bayley targets Bianca after pinning her Saturday.
