7 Ups And 5 Downs For WWE Raw Superstar Shakeup
Ups...
7. Hardy Strikes Gold
During his runs in WWE, Jeff Hardy has always been pegged as a guy destined for singles stardom. He found success in his last run in the late 2000s, winning three world championships.
Although this recent return looked more like a nostalgia run, it seems like the Hardys might have a little more in the tank. Jeff spoiled Jinder Mahal’s return to Raw, challenging and defeating him for the United States Championship. It was the first time Jeff has won the title, and marked his first singles title in WWE in nearly nine years.
The win also put Jinder in the position of the conspiracy theory-laden former champ, a role that actually suits him. It also pits Mahal against Raw GM Kurt Angle, which also opens the door to some possibilities.
