7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 5)

Downs...

5. Revival Downed

There really shouldn’t be any shame in losing to a tag team the caliber of Finn Balor and Karl Anderson. One’s a former WWE Universal Champion and the other is a tag team specialist, and the two have been friends and partners for a while.

But that doesn’t make it any less disappointing that The Revival fell in tag team competition… unless it’s leading somewhere. If the goal is to build up Balor Club for a title shot, then it might make sense. Or if WWE is looking to have a blow-off six-man tag match with Revival finding another partner, then that also could work.

It’s tough to argue against a team like Anderson and Balor winning, and it really shouldn’t have any lasting effects on Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder – unlike the tag match against the Club at Raw 25, which was a horrible disgrace. We’ll note it here as a mild negative and just keep an eye on it.
