7 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw (June 22)

1. Mysterios Have Backup

Rey and Dominik Mysterio confronted Seth Rollins and his acolytes Monday night, but just when it looked like they were going to be outnumbered, the cavalry showed up.

Aleister Black and Humbert Carrillo made a timely appearance after Rollins sent Murphy & Austin Theory after the Mysterios, taking out the two disciples and briefly putting Rollins at a 4-on-1 disadvantage. Even after Murphy & Theory recovered, the good guys were able to overcome and chase off the Monday Night Messiah and his followers.

It’s not entirely clear how the actual match will shape up – Rey versus Seth, a tag match, a six-man tag – but it’s interesting and could be stretched out for a bit in different permutations. That along make it a good thing.

And credit to WWE for bringing Dominik along carefully, not having him be overmatched by the villains, but also not clowning these established heels.
