7 Wrestlers WWE Unsuccessfully Tried To Sign In 2015
2. The Young Bucks
Brothers Matt and Nick Jackson have had amazing matches all over the world for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, TNA Wrestling, so it's no surprise that WWE showed interest in singing them at some point. In October 2015, the Young Bucks signed an exclusive deal with Ring of Honor (which was announced on the ROH website). The deal will see them perform at all ROH TV tapings as well as live events, but they'll continue to take bookings with NJPW and a few indy promotions that fit in their schedule. There were rumours this year that they might sign with WWE's NXT brand before moving up to the main roster, but that didn't happen. They were supposedly talking with WWE while they were going through the process of deciding what company to sign with. Lucha Underground and TNA were also interested parties. Reports from the Wrestling Observer have stated that their ROH contracts are only one year deals, so perhaps a year from now they could sign with Vince's company - most people expect them to at some point in their careers. A reduction in t-shirt money may put them off, however.
