Speaking of Dean Ambrose, he is, in many ways, the babyface equivalent of Kevin Owens. Both have considerable indie experience, work a reckless, hard-hitting style, and possess a certain dark charisma. With both men currently at a loose end, following their respective feuds with Seth Rollins and John Cena, it would make sense to have the two square off against one another in a brutal upper-midcard feud. A reason for such a rivalry could be Owens' disgust at Ambrose's babyface ways, after the heelish potential he showed as the de facto leader of the Shield. A more conventional feud could stem from a simple number one contender tournament, with either man reaching the final match at SummerSlam. Whatever the excuse needed to pair off Ambrose and Owens, the results could be explosive.
