7 WWE Stars Who Should NEVER Turn Babyface Again

3. The Miz

During a recent Q&A tour of the UK, Edge remarked that The Miz was such a great heel because he's genuinely "so incredibly annoying". This is something we've heard about Mike Mizanin before, and it's why all memories of his 2012-2013 face run should be erased.

Forget being handed the Figure Four by Ric Flair or defending America against foreign heels. That was bogus, and never fitted Miz's ability to wind people up, flaunt his reality TV heritage, promote bargain-bin movies or wear criminally awful sunglasses.

The Miz is such a powerful heel because of who he is naturally, not 'cause WWE write him to be that way. That should never be overlooked.

There was a period earlier this year when loads of industry critics, including this writer, were seduced into thinking Miz would make a great babyface. Then, his feud with Daniel Bryan resurfaced to remind everyone why it hasn't happened in five years. As the intro said, some wrestlers just find their niche playing the cowardly jerk.
