7 WWE Tag Teams You Totally Forgot Existed

4. The Heart Throbs

The Heart Throbs were a team that debuted on the Raw brand in April of 2005. They were actually called the Heartbreakers before they debuted on WWE's main roster, but they weren't allowed to use that name because of the presence of Shawn Michaels as the "Heartbreak Kid." That makes sense. What didn't make sense is that somebody thought that this generic looking tag team made up of Romeo Roselli and Antonio Thomas was going to get over as a big deal. Their gimmick was a couple of guys that liked chasing after women. In other words, they were like most wrestlers. They worked as a heel team that only had one PPV match at Backlash 2005 as part of a four team tag gauntlet match. There was no reason for them to get a tag title shot based on their performance since they barely won any matches, but the quality of tag team wrestling in the mid 2000s wasn't that great in WWE. It might have been at its absolute worst in 2005 on Raw. Most of their televised matches were on Heat instead of Raw. It was a very forgettable run for The Heart Throbs in WWE.
